I miscarried this morning and need someone to talk to

I'm sorry to bring this up to you guys but I need to talk to someone that has been through this. I woke up at 7 in the worst pain I have ever felt ( propably worse than labor) I kept passing clots and alot of blood . I was actually screaming my head off :( Finally I passed a huge clot propably the size of a large potato and it was grey and lumpy with blood around it . I thought it was going to be smaller , was yours large as well? As soon as I passed it I felt alot better, sore and exhausted but better. I feel really bad bringing this up to you guys bc I know for me this was very traumatic but I really need to talk to someone

How many weeks were you? When i lost my 8 weeker the sac was the size of a ping pong ball (note my sac was measuring smaller then normal in u/s) but the baby was developed up to date. I had a very hard violent labor for 4 hours before it came out in the tub. Not to me TMI, but did you open on the sac to make sure it's the baby? The only large greyish stuff i had in a previous m/c was the placenta. I had 3 natural m/c at home so I am pretty experienced sadly , any questions let me know. Im so sorry

Thank you ! I couldn't bring myself to opening but I passed multiple large clots before this sac and I feel fine now . I am so sorry you have gone through this so many times Do you think I am done passing what I have to? I was 12 weeks but I was measuring 6 weeks . The doc thinks it may have died in the last few weeks and shrank

I had a mc at home at 9 weeks, baby measured 7 ( I think) but I was in horrible pain passing huge clots for 24 hrs...as soon as I passed the last clot my pain was gone, I took a shower and felt much better...I followed up with the doctor a week later and everything had passed....sorry your going through this but hopefully everything has passed

It sounds like even tho the baby stopped growing that maybe the sac & placenta kept growing at a normal rate hence why it was so big. If the bleeding and cramping has slowed down chances are it's over, only way to confirm is a u/s. All my losses were very clear as day visually so i never went back for u/s but if you feel unsure and bleeding is still a bit heavy then you might need a follow up to make sure nothing was left which can cause infection. But I think most likely it's over.

I had a miscarriage in March '11 and that's pretty much exactly how it happened for me. I didn't see what I passed, but it felt pretty big.
I'm so incredibly sorry that you have to go through this!!

I had pretty much the same thing happen in January, it was a pretty big sack, i was 11 weeks.

I had an incomplete D&C at 9.5 weeks, and a couple of days later I passed what was left behind. It was the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. Like you, once I passed the last of it I felt much much better. I had a sono done shortly after to make sure everything was gone. I would follow up with your OB/RE to make sure that you passed everything... If something is still in there, you can risk an infection.

Thank you all for the hugs ! This has been pretty tough on dh and I I am trying to look at the brighter side of things and know I am blessed with 4 beautiful healthy girls and a healthy family . I am so sorry you woman had to experience this as well . Hugs for you all
