Flying first trimester?

Hi Ladies-

I am not pregnant yet, but plan on TTC this fall for baby number 3! Chat Icon

I have a girls weekend planned in FL in a few months, wondering if anyone knows if it's ok to fly your first trimester or not? TIA

Flying first trimester?

I flew when I was pg with DS at 6 weeks. SIL flew in her 2nd trimester. As long as everything is well you're allowed until 34 or 36 weeks i think.

Flying first trimester?

I had just conceived but I flew home from Europe so that probably doesn't count but about halfway through I flew to Atlanta and it was fine.

Flying first trimester?

I flew to Paris at 14-16 weeks. OB was nothing but excited for me, said it was completely fine. (For a long distance flight like that she did have me take baby aspirin to prevent blood clots but you likely would not need that for Florida.) Have fun and good luck TTC!

Flying first trimester?

I didn't even know I was pregnant until after our trip to Ireland my first pregnancy. By the time I got back and tested, I was over 6 weeks along. My daughter is a perfect little almost-20-month-old (if I do say so myself). Chat Icon
