BTDT moms who used rock and play sleeper
DS is 3.5 months and has been sleeping awesome in the rock and play. We put him the crib last night and that was a total fail. At what age did you stop using the rock and play? How did you make the transition to the crib easier?

We stopped at about 5 months. We used the Halo sleep sack at first and really lucked out. He was getting too tall for the rock n play and it would have been any day til he climbed out.

Didn't bother trying till 6 months (DS is small, so he had plenty of room). It took 3 nights in total and then he was transitioned. I am not going to lie, I don't believe in CIO but it had to be done :( Now, he is 10 months and still can fit in it. If he is having bad teething nights I put it next to me and rock him..He sleeps an extra 2 + hours in the R&P. IMO they should make them bigger so they can stay in them forever LOL

Never had the RNP but maybe try first putting him for napsso he can get used to it? Also, they sell a crib wedge, maybe that can help since he will be elevated like innthe RNP... Good luck !

4 months. We put her in a sleep sack. First night she woke up a couple of times but after that she was pretty much good to go. We were lucky. Good luck

Re: BTDT moms who used rock and play sleeper
We haven't transitioned yet. We plan to wait til 3 mo to put them in their cribs. We were waiting for their glider so we had a place to feed them at night and its coming this week. I want to start them on naps in it first. They are in swings now for most naps so we need to break that a bit. I heard suggestions like prop one end of the crib mattress up on books then take a book away each night. Or put the boppy under them in the crib then remove it when they are asleep.

We transitioned from rnp to crib at 3 months. The very first night was a success and has been ever since so I cannot help you there.

We tried the transition at 4 months but it was a complete bust, waited until 5 and it was better, but did naps in the crib here and there to get her used to it.
