Maybe ready to try again- have some questions

Background: Went to RE and got pregnant with my gorgeous son who will be 3 in February

August 2011: Got pregnant on our own and miscarried

June 2012- went to RE again and after 1 month got pregnant but on Aug 1 had emergency surgery because it was ectopic and my right tube ruptured- they had to remove it

We never did IUI or IVF- it was just clomid and times intercourse.

I am slowly getting closer to wanting to try again. I was torn about trying for a 2nd or just being happy with my son.
I am torn and dont know if I want to try on our own or go back to the RE.
I am assuming that having 1 tube now will make it more difficult to get pregnant.

Then I wonder if we just try on our own- and if its in God's plan for us to have another he will make it happen.

So i guess would you try on your own or go back to the RE

I am sorry for your losses :(

I would definitely keep seeing the RE based on your history.That way he/she can monitor you and stay on top of any issues that might occur.

I just think an RE can do more than an OB/GYN can.
