Converting from Oil to Gas
Hello,
Can anyone recommend a company to convert from oil to gas? OUr house got destroyed in Hurricane Sandy so we figure we should probably switch now as our house is being totally redone.

Haven't used him but a friend just recommended Paul Bambino - said he is on the National Grid approved list. We are giong to call him for conversion too.

Converting from Oil to Gas
We used Burner King for our first house and we're using them again for this house. My parents used them too and my dad is a heating contractor, so he's kinda picky. They really liked them. We have worked with Brian for all of the conversions.

did you call national grid to get the cost of moving the lines to your home? for us, since nobody around us has gas, they quoted us $19,500 just to move the lines (aka send me a monthly bill). We stuck with oil b/c it would have taken too long to recoup that cost.

Same here, except it was around 30K. They told me the address of the house that would need to convert to gas so that I would get it for free.
Uhm, yeah I;m not knocking on someones door and asking them to spend thousands of dollars to convert to gas.
