He did cut your taxes...it was a temporary reduction which NEITHER party tried to extend.
The Republicans did want to extend it.
No, they didn't.
Yes they most certainly did. That's what Romney argued during the debates. He wanted to contine the bush era tax cuts to generate more revenue for the economy. During Bush's last term in office, his tax cuts generared the most gov revenue.
The whole logical point should be cutting spending on entitlements rather than continuing to tax everyone.
Get your facts straight: the Bush era tax breaks and the SSN tax holiday are two different things.
I hear you but I was trying to say that by not extending payroll tax cuts, our spending problems and debt will remain and less $ going to the economy. Kwim
No, I don't KWYM. They are completely different things. The republicans did not want to extend it. Even Fox News would not argue this.
You must watch too much msnbc.

The SS payroll tax has increased from $4600/year in 2012 to 7050/year in 2013?? What's the deal, I thought President Barack promised to cut my taxes? Why am I paying for everyone's EBT??
1. you just told everyone how much you make
2. You do realize that SS pays for SS - which, theoretically, you will also collect one day. You will be the recipient if you live long enough.

Um, the Bush tax cuts actually included the SS tax as well.
This board is majority Democratic. Obviously the facts are out there and you guys are going to defend Obama until you are all blue in the face. And that's fine. The guy already lied today by saying he promises to uphold the constitution. ********. But keep on defending him! Taxes continue to skyrocket even more and healthcare tax is in there too.... See your car insurance rates going up? Yea, that's the Obamacare pricetag. These companies have to pay for their employers healthcare and guess who pays for it? People that voted for Obama voted for this. Bottom line. Go ahead and roll your eyes and post snarky comments. I see it like it is. And Republicans DID push for an extension. It just wasn't happening with the debt that OBAMA keeps on raising. What a classact he is!

Fabulous. Go ahead. And as I've mentioned before, I do believe in Gay rights. As far as my money being used for people that don't work and crappy healthcare, I am NOT okay with that. But you keep on going with your koombayah mentality. That's the mentality that screws everything up in this country. That mentality is breaking down the middle class.
