Christening Favors
So I'm starting to look for favors for DS upcoming baptism however I'm not sure what to give. My SIL suggested m&m's but they are a little too pricey for the bulk candy since I would want to do three colors. I was thinking of maybe doing little picture frames.
If you ladies could give me some ideas or tell me what your favors were I'd appreciate it!!
Thanks

I did cupcake push pops from veronicastreats.com. They tasted amazing and were so easy to work with.

Re: Christening Favors
My daughter's name is Dylan so we did a bunch of different flavored candy bars from Dylan's Candy Bar. I know, very specific. But everyone loved it!
For our son we did candy apples. His Christening was in mid-October.
I think I just prefer edible favors.

Re: Christening Favors
We made ours....bought everything at Michaels....2 marshmallows on a stick, covered in chocolate and sprinkles. Then wrapped each in a plastic bag and tied it with ribbon.

Oh that's a great idea also!! Did it take long to make? How far in advance did you make them?

Christening Favors
I made chocolate lollipop crosses, chocolate covered oreos with crosses on them (I used molds) and chocolate covered pretzel rods.

Re: Christening Favors
anything edible...
I unfortunately hardly use favors if they are not edible!
I've done for my kids parties (christenings and birthdays):
-cross cookies -cupcakes edible stamp with cross and name -cookie bouquets (flower cookies on sticks in middle of table as centerpiece - then everyone took a cookie home) -hot chocolate favors (with choc chips and marshmallows) in a cone shape bag

We made them about a week beforehand and DH and I did it over 2 nights. We made about 80 of them. The first night we put the marshmallows on the sticks and dipped em in chocolate and sprinkles. Then put them on waxed paper lined baking sheets in the fridge to harden overnight. The following night we put them in bags and tied the ribbons. I'd say about 2 hrs each night. It was really easy! And it was fun to hang out while doing it!

Re: Christening Favors
I am a big fan of edible favors and tend to go over board... like more than 1.
In thinking for DS baptism in the future - I might do one one edible and a non-edible (plate, statue or something)
