Terrible 3's
Is this age worse than 2? DD is 3 months shy of her 3rd birthday and I feel like I never know which version of her I am going to see. One minute she is the sweet little baby I raised and the next minute she is a screaming, whining mess that doesn't speak but rather full on screams in your face without warning. She has never had a problem with expressing herself before so this new personality is worrying me.
Is this normal? Will it end? How can I help her through this without making it worse?

Yes. You cant do anything to change it. If you could, you'd be one rich chick. Just ignore it.

Um, yeah. My older DD got much better by 3.5. My middle DD is still like this and she's going to be 6 in May. And I'm scared for my youngest who won't be 3 until October.

DS outgrew it around 6.5, and DD will be 7 in May, and still not out of that stage....

Re: Terrible 3's
I feel like ignoring it works to some degree. DH and I are trying to only acknowledge her when she uses her words to express how she feels or what she wants-and helping her to identify the feelings she is having-when they are rational of course! I guess just practicing my patience is the only cure

3 here in May and boy oh boy are we in for it. Haut today alone was an hour long tantrum screaming fighting crying timeouts. We've been dealing with this since she turned 1 literally. I have my days where I wanna throw I the towel and leave hahahahaha. It's hard. I hate it. Some days she's an angel other a devil.
