I know we are each on a journey here and I thought it might be nice to share where we are all at. I know it's been discussed here and there on various threads, but I thought maybe having one thread to discuss might help us discover other women with similar obstacles or journies. :) Sometimes it helps to not feel so alone.

5 months
2 did you have any pre-existing issues?
I have hypothyroidism, but my levels have been good (1.7 TSH) for awhile.
3. Have you seen an RE yet?
No- plan to if not pregnant by summer
4. Did the RE discover any health issues?
N/a
5. If you are pregnant or did get pregnant, what worked?
N/a

My gynocologist ran blood work and did a sono for me to rule out any issues and everything checked out fine.

2 did you have any pre-existing issues? I have PCOS

3. Have you seen an RE yet? Going to see Dr. Saketos at RSofNY on April 15th!!

4. Did the RE discover any health issues? n/a - but my obgyn has me taking metformin since December 2012 and I have had to take medication to get my period since coming off BCP.

5. If you are pregnant or did get pregnant, what worked? n/a

4. No health issues. Have egg supply of 19 yr old and I am 36

~~Stage 4 endo, tubal scarring, Lt tube blocked.
3. Have you seen an RE yet?
~~Under the care for 3 months now!
4. Did the RE discover any health issues?
~~Lt tube blocked and low amh due to damage from the endo to my ovaries.
5. If you are pregnant or did get pregnant, what worked?
I got pregnant with my DS years ago after a laparoscopy surgery to remove adhesions in my uterus and clear the endo. Might need another for #2.

1. Actively trying since December but went off pill in September and wasn't not trying

2. No pre-existing issues but I had cancer when I was 21 so that is always in the back of my mind.

3. No RE yet, my dr said if I wasn't pregnant by June he would send me

4. Did the RE discover any health issues? Nothing yet, but we're still waiting on some results from DH's SA

7 months, although I've been off the pill since July of 2009

not that I was aware of, although they found out that one of my tubes were blocked.

I was pregnant in 2009 but had a miscarriage. I used the OPKs.

1. How long have you been actively trying?
almost 2 years, April 2011 I believe. (been ttc it the good old fashioned way, used OPKs for 1 month)
2 did you have any pre-existing issues? Not really. I went for a routine physical in October 2012, found hematuria & sent me to a Urologist which sent me for a Cat scan which found a 4mm kidney stone in my left kidney & cyst in my right ovary. I was in the ER, thought I could be passing the stone, where I had another cat scan, & they said that they didn't find a cyst (2 weeks after the first cat scan). I think the cyst is still there. I just had a procedure 2 weeks ago where they blasted that kidney stone sucker & I'm feeling good now.
I'm going to visit my OBGYN asap to see what's going on. When I meet with him, we are going to talk to him about our fertility issues. We had seen my OBGYN back in July 2012, when I had a miscarriage; that is when he told us that we shouldn't worry that it will happen pretty much.
During this time, we were ordered by the doctors "not to get pregnant", because of cat scans & kidney stones (sounds like a book title lol) This was in January & February.

5. If you are pregnant or did get pregnant, what worked?
We have a 2 year, 4 month DS, who is our little honeymoon baby What worked was not trying! (Sorry, that doesn't sound good!) Or to be more in detail, being relaxed I guess because when we got pregnant in late June 2012 & miscarried, I feel like I was more relaxed at that time. I'm really hoping & feeling that now that we go rid of my kidney problem we will get pregnant.

We got pregnant in 2011 and we had a whatever happens, happens attitude. Didn't even think of it because we only had sex once during a possible fertile period. We got pregnany but mc at almost 10 wks. Took time off and started 6 months ago. We were trying pretty hard the first few months but have relaxed now - whatever happens, happens ;)

~ Went off BCP in September and after that wasn't "not" trying, but I'd say e've been actively trying the past 3 or so months.

2 Did you have any pre-existing issues?
~ None that I know of...

~ Nope, I'm thinking we'll try to wait until one year and if no luck then, we'll look into an RE

4. Did the RE discover any health issues?
~ N/A

5. If you are pregnant or did get pregnant, what worked?
~ This will be my first. I was super reluctant to start TTC (DH had crazy baby fever!) so I thought since I was one of those people who was so afraid to get pg it would happen right away. Since it hasn't been as quick as I thought, I'm definitely more on board and excited for when my BFP actually comes!

1. How long have you been actively trying? - a little over 2 years, but I've been off BC since 2009

2 did you have any pre-existing issues? I have PCOS, hypothyroidism, anovolutory cycles which require me to take provera every 3 months to induce AF. DH has a low sperm count

3. Have you seen an RE yet? Yes we've been working with our current RE since Aug 2012

4. Did the RE discover any health issues? Ones mentioned above

5. If you are pregnant or did get pregnant, what worked? Got pregnant naturally 3x. 1st ended in a mc at 7 weeks, and I've had 2 chemical pregnancies in 2011

We have been actively trying for 1.5 years

No pre existing issues

I saw an RE last year. Blood work was done and everything came back fine.

I had my first child may of 04. I had been on the pill for ten years, and when I went off it took 9 months for us to conceive. I went back on the pill till March of 05. At that time I went off thinking it would take us a long time to get pregnant again. June of 05 I was pregnant and had a daughter. At that time I was 25 when I got pregnant with my first and 27 with my second. Im remarried and my husband has no kids. In 2010 for 6 months I wasnt on any birth control and we weren't preventing, and we were bd during ovulation and nothing. He had a freak out moment of not thinking he was ready for a baby so I got on the pill for 5 months, then he decided that he was ready. So when you figure up the 1.5 yrs and the 6 months prior to that its been 2 years and nothing. I really think he has a low sperm count, and he thinks there's something wrong too, but he's not jumping to go get tested. I think it's easier for him to speculate then to actually hear a doctor confirm what he thinks. I do know with my first after trying for 8 months I said forget it im going to focus on other things then bam I was preggo. With my second it was a shock at how quick it happened. This round I've thrown in the towel and if it happens great, but with thinking something is wrong with my dh I'll be shocked if it ever happens.

2 did you have any pre-existing issues? No. My cycle has been regular.

3. Have you seen an RE yet? Yes we started going in February. All tests came back normal for me,except a 7.5 progesterone level. We are planning to do IVF with ICSI at the end of June.

4. Did the RE discover any health issues? My DH has MF, low count, 1% morphology and low motility.

5. If you are pregnant or did get pregnant, what worked? I have never been pregnant.

1. How long have you been actively trying? Over 2 years

2 did you have any pre-existing issues? I was diagnosed with PCOS in my early twenties when I was in law school.

3. Have you seen an RE yet? No. Long story short, last March I started seeing an OB that specializes in infertility, highly recommended by a number of people I know. He did all sorts of testing - hysteroscopy, hysterosalpinogram, all sorts of blood work. Nothing major, but some mild things. Did SA for husband, that was fine.
I got pregnant second month of 50 mg clomid with progesterone suppositories. Was not successful, ended at 11 weeks. Very long story short doctor suspected I had partial molar pregnancy and/or chloriocarcinoma (a cancer). He was ready to send me for chemo, I went for second opinion, he was wrong, I dumped him as a doctor.

While pregnant, I aw Dr. Kofinas for a second opinion and felt very comfortable. We lost our house in Hurricane Sandy so took a few months off, but started trying again around Christmas.

4. Did the RE discover any health issues?
Not an RE, but Kofinas determined I have luteal phase defect, clotting issues, and three forms of thrompopholia.

Even on highest dosage of clomid, I only grow one follicle.

We did IUI the past two months (with new OB)' both Cafaro and Rosenberg said husbands sperm count lower than they would like. It was fine last year, and they have that report, so DH is going to see a specialist a lady on this board recommended.

5. If you are pregnant or did get pregnant, what worked?

Got pregnant on clomid.

I am now doing accupuncture twice a week on top of everything else.
