NYPD dental
Anyone use any of the dentists in this plan? Im looking for one in the bethpage area please. One that doesn't kill either ;)

Sorry can't help...my hubby is a Sanitation cop and his dental sucks!! Thanks to my job, I have decent dentists.

I go to Dr. Tania Saavedra, she is located in Levittown (border of Bethpage) She takes PBA insurance and shes very good. Shes very sweet and gentle.

Ugh I can imagine. My husband used the vision plan and they reversed the prescription in his new glasses and gave him the completely wrong prescription for his contacts

You know that doesn't really surprise me. My husband would tell me stories about the vision centers he used to go to before us getting married. He eventually never used the plan and paid full price for glasses, elsewhere. With my vision plan, and my favorite optometrist ever (she has name brand frames for super reasonable prices), he is so much happier.

I said the same thing when I took him to where i get my glasses. I said let them recheck you who cares what the cost will be. he doesn't have time to run back and forth all day. its crazy.

Not sure about Bethpage but if you check out the PBA website you may be able to locate a good one. Its nycpba.org. Click the main site link, look under benefits & then select active members, then dental. I've actually been looking for one in Brooklyn but haven't been to any yet under this insurance.
