Re: Gift Idea-Nurse Grad
not sure it's exactly cute but how about a relaxing gift like a gift cert for a massage/day at the spa

Re: Gift Idea-Nurse Grad
Maybe a subscription to a wine of the month club.
I work with nurses professionally, and she's gonna need it.

Depending on what you're looking to spend (or maybe you could go in with other people) I saw this a while back and always thought it would make a great gift for someone in the medical profession.

haha me too!! especially these days!
But seriously...
I received a lladro when I graduated that I loved.
A GC for a manicure pedicure is also an idea you cant go wrong with for the most part.
Also, the litmann stethescope is a great idea if she doesnt have one.
I wouldnt do scrubs bc depending on where she works she might receive scrubs. Also a lot of hospitals have color restrictions etc.

Gift Idea-Nurse Grad
As mentioned above stethoscope, the tiffany pen..., the pin. Comfy shoes ( or giftcard/cert to a place she can get)... anything that is practical for her everyday work day. Nice watch...

Re: Gift Idea-Nurse Grad
Hmm as a nurse myself I would agree with some of the above like a watch (with a second hand) a nice pen (nurses love a good writing pen, so if you can get her initials on it to keep it away from those with sticky fingers ), or wine for those awful shifts! I wouldn't get scrubs for her since certain facilities might have specifics of what she can and can't wear but perhaps a nice fleece to go over it on chilly days. Regardless of weather they are great for night shift nurse, about 2 or 3am everyone gets chilly! Also if she's a new grad then she will probably work nights. A sleeping mask or a white noise machine to help her sleep during the day perhaps?

Beautiful gift but this won't make it through one shift!
The fleece sounds like heaven but many places don't allow them, but white nursing jackets can be worn anywhere. I have seen people with jackets that have their name monogrammed like Jane Smith RN and I don't think any hospital would have a problem with that since its very generic. Like others have said with the scrubs many hospitals are going to have a hospital or unit specific color so until she knows for sure what colors she can wear she may not be able to use them.
