My son is 14 months and I'm starting to think he is going to need a 12 step program to stop nursing! I'm a teacher and figured since I'm home for the summer it would be easier. Instead, he keeps trying to get more nursing sessions from me. Any advice? TIA

Lol, I'm slowly working on this with my 14 month old DD too. I would try to keep busy and get out and about during a feeding time. Also, maybe a turtleneck! I cut out DD's midday session bc she was trying to help herself whenever she noticed the goods which I was not okay with! She actually did fine and I was shocked she never looked to nurse after her nap when I didn't offer. I took advantage of DH being off for the summer and had him get her and take her outside or play for a while to distract her. I only tried to cut out the morning once and we made it an hour before she asked and I gave in. I'll try again soon and maybe just get her dressed quickly and go out for the morning which I think will work. I figure after a few days we should be in the clear. Not sure about bedtime yet though. I'll figure that out when we get there!
