hosting a lunch, need help with what to serve
i'm having dh's extended family over for lunch next Saturday. i'm taking the easy way out and hitting up uncle guisseppe's for everything... I want to keep it "light" since I don't think any of us (except dh!) are huge eaters, and it's so hot out. i'm thinking cold cuts, salads etc. other than his parents, I've never had any of them over and I've only met them a few times, so i'm not certain what anyone likes. what would you serve and of how much? there will be 10 of us. thanks

Some ideas:
- a cold cut platter (tell them how many people and they should know how big to make it)
-make a nice basket with assorted rolls, bagels, breads
- maybe some tuna, egg or chicken salad
-A specialty salad (maybe goat cheese/cranberry type of thing)
-maybe a platter of pre made wraps
- fruit salad
- pasta salad
- coleslaw/potato salad
- grilled veggies
- tomato mozzarella platter
- order a grilled chicken hero
