Lump by ear?
I woke up this morning with a swollen lump in front of my ear & feels like its in my TMJ. Its sore! What in the world could this be?

Def swollen lymph node. Could be an ear infection, I use to have bad ear infections and those lymph nodes swelled each time.

I def think its a lymph node. I have a Dr apt today. But from what I'm reading online they usually take care of themselves. I'm not one to run to the Dr for every little thing but this is painful & bigger today.

Could be swimmers ear. Not unusual to get swelling I mm the nodes or that area with an outter ear infection.

I had the exact same thing back in March. It ended up being an ear infection that took going to the ER to diagnose!
The swelling spread from the front of my ear/face, down to my neck, and ultimately in the back of my head. Urgent care told me they were tumors and that's why I went to the ER. Antibiotics worked wonders!

Wow that's crazy but I'm glad your better. I have an ear infection & on antibiotics. Swelling is still there but it's not as sore. I've never had swelling like that before.

Mine is actually a tumor. Had an MRI that showed four or five tumors, one of which is large enough to be removed. My biopsy showed the larger one to be a benign Warthin's tumor. Having surgery sometime in August.
