Another milk transition question
Dd is just about 11 1/2 months. I started a couple days ago adding 2 oz of milk to her formula. She seems to be adjusting fine. For a few reasons, I just gave her 2 oz of the cows milk by itself, and she drank it no problem. Now I'm tempted to finish the formula I have, and not buy any more. Probably only2 or 3 days left. My question is, is it bad to make a short transition? (1 week) also, would it be bad to have her off formula about 2 weeks before her 1st bday? Should I continue at least until her bday? Anyone else done this?

Another milk transition question
It's not bad to have a short transition if it's not seeming to affect her or to transfer between 11-12 months.
We did a long transition with DS 1 - we didn't realize at the time but, he had a lactose sensitivity and the milk was making him really sick.
For DS 2 - he was transitioned in 3-4 days. He enjoyed milk more than formula.

Another milk transition question
I switched DS a week before his 1 year bday. I did a 2 week transition. Never had a bad tummy or gas. I mixed the milk with formula and slowly weeded out the formula. GL

Another milk transition question
DD will be completely transitioned over by this weekend. She turns 1 on Thursday. I did not mix her bottles, just swapped out one bottle of milk for formula and did that for several days. She does 4 bottles a day. We are already down to one bottle of formula. Total was about 2 weeks. What formula do you use? I have some enfagrow samples I won't be using I can send you.

Another milk transition question
We did a quick transition (4-5 days) at just over 11 months. Ped had mentioned if I felt she was ready and I was running low on formula to go ahead and make the switch so we went with it. No problems at all except for the first day when it was 3/4 formula 1/4 milk. Not sure if it was the ratio or what but she sip then look at the bottle and look at me like something up. But day 2 when I did 1/2 and 1/2 she loved it and wanted more!

We use enfamil. I was debating on switching to enfagrow! But then realized I just wanted to stop formula because of the cost. I'd definitely use the samples though

Re: Another milk transition question
I did it cold turkey with my DD. Finished the last can of formula and went right over to milk, she had no problems.

Re: Another milk transition question
I did not do a transition at all and did it a few weeks before DD's first birthday. My dr said since DD had no sensitivity to food it wasn't necessary to transition.
