anyone else a little bummed?
I am NOT complaining...but i'd be lying if i said I am not going to miss pumpkin ale and pumpkin coffee and coquito on christmas. I feel like i also read last pregnancy that cider is not good for preggos but can't remember why.
I just feel like some of my biggest fall likes are things i'll have to forgo this year. I know it's all for a good reason though.

Re: anyone else a little bummed?
You can have pumpkin lattes! And I am sure cider is fine as long as its pasteurized.
I am not sure when you are due, but this summer was my second summer pregnant- and it stunk! Of course I am super excited for LO but 100+ degree weather and no pina coladas was no fun LOL.

Re: anyone else a little bummed?
oooo...I just found a recipe for "no coffee pumpkin latte" and it has great reviews!
I guess ur right...latte's have less caffiene than regular coffee since it's mostly milk and i don't drink starbucks which seems to have higher caffeine than most...ok i feel alot better now!

Re: anyone else a little bummed?
IDK, I allow myself 1 tall pumpkin latte from starbucks every friday. It's delicious But there are definitely ones you can make "decaf" if you are not comfortable with the caffeine level.

Re: anyone else a little bummed?
I'm 37 weeks and have had coffee every day this pregnancy basically. 4-5 days a week I have decaf and the others I have regular. You can have caffeine, just don't drink a bunch of cups a day.

Re: anyone else a little bummed?
yeah, I've had a cup of decaf...I just worry bc they advise against more than 200mg of caffeine a day and some brews have more than that in just one cup (like SB pike place)
I think a latte would be fine though. just may go get one today to quench my need for all things pumpkin and fall!

You can have brewed coffee- brew it yourself so you have a bit of control over how strong it is- you can have pasteurized cider and espresso has less caffeine then brewed coffee so lattes are OK.

Re: anyone else a little bummed?
You can have your coffee & drink it too. 1-2 cups a day as advised my OB, RE, and the nurses. You can always order a latte in decaf at Starbucks I believe. You can at Dunkin Donuts & they have pumpkin spice also. You ladies mentioned that latte have less caffeine because of the amt of milk so I feel like treating my self to one this week. Even if it costs me $5. Lol.
