Disney Wilderness Lodge
I'm booking a last minute trip to Disney for my family and I would like to stay on the property. As of right now the only availability for our dates is at the Wilderness Lodge. If you have stayed there do you recommend it?

LOVE The Wilderness Lodge! The resort is gorgeous, the pics online don't do it justice. I love that everything is under one roof, no other buildings to travel to like some of the other resorts. I LOVE that the MK is just a boat ride away, as well as the Fort Wilderness Campground (fun Chip and Dale S'mores and Singalong there..free!). It's a great place! We had a Courtyard view bunk bed room, and could see the electrical water pageant at night.

Thank you, it sounds great! You're absolutely right about the pictures online! It is hard to tell what it really looks like in the pix, most of the images were taken at night.

Re: Disney Wilderness Lodge
We stayed there on our last visit to Disney. Although I wasn't particularly thrilled with the theming, my boys loved it. The boat to MK is super convenient. We roasted marshmallows every night.

Wilderness Lodge is one of my all time favorite resorts. I love the ferry to MK and I love the theme and the rooms are great.
I have a promotion for February that any LIF member who books a trip with me this month gets a free gift. My services are free and you won't pay more than booking direct with Disney. Contact me if you'd like more information.

Does anyone have any idea what it would cost over Spring Break (if still available) to stay here for for 5 or 6 nights?

For what dates and how many people (ages of kids too) those things can make a difference. So many variables.

Re: Disney Wilderness Lodge
Well it is a bit tricky. Technically the 12-20 are blackout dates for the room % plus one free day on a 4+ day ticket. For some reason when I plug in your dates but try for the package it doesn't give me the room discount but does give me the ticket
Anyway you are looking at lowest about $4100 give or take for 5 day tickets and standard view room ( cheapest room at the hotel). Add about $180 give or take for park hoppers if you want them and a bit more for 6 day etc tickets. Not if you add the dining plan you are closer to 5,000. So the cheapest way to go to the wilderness lodge would run between 4-5k with tickets and maybe food on the upper end of that range. Of course higher room category= higher price. Then you have to add air which will run you a lot. You could save money depending on where you want to eat, what you can get last minute and what you like to eat by not getting the dining plan. But if depends on your personal preferences.
Now if you want to drop to a moderate you would be looking at approx 1k less. It seems to range from about $2800-4k depending on your options (food, room category and ticket options).
Airfare will be a lot. You are best to book that separately from wdw. Transportation from the airport is free unless you add a rental car.
You can go to wdw and plug in your info and get quotes. The discounts are on the site. Easter vacation week though is a blackout for the % room and free day ticket and the other deal doesn't start until the 27th of April.

Your first born!!
Seriously it's expensive though since it's a peak week. You can price it out online, just takes a couple minutes on their site!

Re: Disney Wilderness Lodge
It will cost you about $500/night for just the room during peak spring break days.
We paid around $300/night previously but it was off peak.

This. We are paying about $300/night for off peak. I priced it out for spring break and it was double.
