Big kid bed under. 2

My dd is 20 months old and she is climbing out of the crib. My oldest dd is 3.5 and in a toddler bed. I want to get my oldest a twin bed. The girls share a room and I'd like to get matching beds in the room. So I was thinking instead of putting my youngest in the toddler bed just put her straight into a twin bed with the rails up. I'm just wondering if anyone else put their kids in a big kid bed before 2 and how it worked out?

My DS was 23 months so he was practically 2. But he went from crib to bunk beds. Gave us no issues but I definitely don't think that's the norm.

We switched DS to a twin bad at 18

All 3 of my kids went straight to twin beds without any problems. I switched them young.

#1- 17 months
#2- 15 months
#2- 17 months

We switched at 21 months - he loved it!! Slept so much better actually then he did in the toddler bed. I really think it's because the mattress was much more comfortable. We did put the bed rail up and one side is against a wall.

My DD is 22 months and we are switching her to a twin bed this weekend. Hoping it works out ok.

Full size bed at 20m no issue at all.

We switched from crib to twin at 24 months. Best decision. He loves it.
