Dumb Pedicure Question lol
This may sound stupid but how do you go about getting a pedicure in this weather?? In warmer weather, I just wear my flip flops but what do you do in this snow and ice??
As you can probably tell, I don't get them often lol but I really need one now!!!
Thanks!

Dumb Pedicure Question lol
I would just tell them to put clear nail polish or wait for them to be completely dry before leaving and wear close shoes or would just suck the walk in flip flop from the nail salon to the car

Dumb Pedicure Question lol
I wear my uggs and bring my flops. I get a gel mani along with a pedicure so they always do my toes first so by the time i leave my toes are dry.

Re: Dumb Pedicure Question lol
Essie Good to Go Top coat. Dries the entire thing in about 30 seconds to solid hard finish, no smudges, so you can put your boots or closed toe shoes on.

I suck it up and wear flip flops. It usually isn't bad except for the time it snowed during my pedicure and I had to walk through snow to get to my car! Brrr

Dumb Pedicure Question lol
I wear my flip flops back and try to do it on a dry day so I won't be walking in rain or snow.

Wow that never happened to me! I returned that stuff LOL. I was getting sheet marks 12 hours after my mani! Seche Vite is the best for fast-drying.

Seche Vite definitely works 10000x better for me than Essie Good to Go. I can go to bed less than 30 mins after doing my nails with Seche Vite!

No joke. Did my nails this morning at work. One base coat of Nail tek. 2 coats of color. One top coat of Nail tek. Put the Good to Go right on top of all those wet layers. In 30 seconds I touched it to test it- dry. No joke. Went to the bathroom after that and pulled my tights up and down, not a mark.

Re: Dumb Pedicure Question lol
I wait for them to completely dry. I did this a month ago, waited for them to dry,put my socks and boots on and had not problem. just give yourself some extra time or freeze your toes with flip flops.

Dumb Pedicure Question lol
I wear flip flops. I debated taking toe socks and cutting the tips off, putting them on, and then my flip flops.

Dumb Pedicure Question lol
On the rare occasion I get a pedi in the winter, I just wear flip flops. It's really just in and out of the car.

Re: Dumb Pedicure Question lol
They put saran wrap on my toes before I put my socks on. It keeps the polish from smudging. Works like a charm.

Re: Dumb Pedicure Question lol
Make sure you have time to dry, at least 5-10 minutes, then spray or brush oil provided by salon on your toes and ask them to wrap your toes in saran wrap before putting on socks and shoes. That's what I do when I get pedicures in the winter and it works great!
