6w3d no heartbeat and low progesterone...What are my chances???
Baby was measuring small- about 2mm and they said I looked about 6w. We saw a fetal pole, but my progesterone was the lowest it has ever been- 6.4. They increased my suppositories to 2x a day instead of once a day and I know that when you're taking the suppositories that it doesn't necessarily reflect in your blood but it has been fluctuating so much I'm really worried.
Anyone have this happen and still have a viable pregnancy? I have another u/s next Monday but I'm just nervous about getting bad news before work.

Can they give you PIO instead? That would help increase your levels and reflect in your bloodwork.

I'm not sure. I guess I could ask. All they told me to do was to increase the Crinone to 2x a day. I'm starting to get the feeling that the RE is giving up on this pregnancy...

at 6w2d my progesterone had never been above a 2! (three checks were 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8). They told me i probably will miscarry but i got progesterone anyway.
I had a sonogram at 6w3d and we did have a heartbeat but i was warned that it may still be too early to see one.
im 38 weeks along today

Ok thank you! I know its probably 50/50 at this point but I just really hope I can hold onto this pregnancy.

Ask for PIO along with crinone. I used both and am 23 weeks today.

Thank you everyone. I go back Monday for another u/s and bloodwork so I guess we'll find out then. I called the nurses and have a message in asking about PIO so we'll see. As of now I'm just using the suppositories 2x a day. Hopefully its enough. My last progesterone reading was 13.3 so it was a pretty drastic drop. They said my estrogen level was good so who knows...
