How long does homemade sangria stay good?
DH made it five days ago. He's still drinking it but I stopped on day three. I'm freaked out by the fruit sitting there in liquid (even with the alcohol content). Whist do you think? It's been in the fridge all along of course.

In my house it wouldn't have lasted 5 days. 
I would probably drink it but skip the fruit.

LOL! Same here...
I'm thinking it's in alcohol so how bad can it really get?! Is he ok today after drinking it 5 days later? If so then I say it's fine.

I would take the fruit out of it at this point.
if it still tastes food then I would just strain the fruit out and go at it!

I would use my general rule when it comes to anything of this kind.
If it smells and tastes ok, it's ok.
Hasn't failed me yet.

How long does homemade sangria stay good?
For me I like to think fruit ferments in the sangria and creates a higher alcohol content...ha but I'm not Bill Nye I'm just looking at excuses not to waste good alcohol.

DH is still drinking it- day six - says it tastes better than ever!
