injured stray kitten and nobody to take it
I left a message and also sent an email to Guardians of Rescue this afternoon, on behalf of the OP who has clearly worked hard to try to he get help, but I have yet to hear back from anyone.

Did the lady ever call you back? I bet you it's my neighbor! The cat lady rescuer that she is. Is her name Erika? Lol

Bring the kitten to a vet. Most will treat the animal and work out a payment plan or write it off. Poor kitten

I was emailing with some people last night then contact just stopped with no answer, one lady told me to just take it to be put down. I wish I could take care of the medical costs myself but I really can't. And yes I'm pretty sure I've contacted all the places u guys told me too, I've called so many places I lost track. This is day 4,what do I do?

Try calling places instead of emailing. You'll get a more direct answer.
Are you positive you have tried Bobbi & The Strays and The Long Island Cat Project?

At this point, it needs to see a vet without more delay. Its leg might be broken, but it also might have nerve damage and never walk normally again. A vet needs to assess its condition, then a decision can be made about its care and fate.
What vet do you use? Have you called them to see what they would charge to see and X-ray it, considering it is a stray and not yours? I just put that question to my vet's office and am waiting their call back after the girl speak to a doctor.

My vet was no help which pissed me off cuz last year alone we have given them over $10,000 with all the problems our animals have had, u would think they could have a little consideration.

No the lady never called back, I don't think her name was Erica, she was in ronkonkoma or lake grove I think. My mil is the one who talked to her.

If we don't get any answers by the end of the day my mil is adamant we bring it to be put down. It peed on the paper I put down for it which soaked thru to the floor so she wants it out of her house. This is what I'm dealing with a long with a teething baby and I haven't been feeling well for days. I haven't slept cuz it wakes me up meowing at night and my ds has been waking up at 4 am the past 2 days. I'm just mentally n physically exhausted.

I spoke to ARF yesterday. It's flooded with kittens right now and can not take an injured one. They were one of several organizations who referred me to Guardians of Rescue which just called me back.
I PMed the OP that the man from Guardians needs some cell phone pictures to understand how old the kitten is which will help them decide which vet to send it to. I gave her the number to send the photos to, and his name and number to call half an hour later. I hope she is able to do it. Poor girl.
I have offered to make a donation for its care as well.

Were you able to send pictures to Guardians? Then call Robert? I believe they will take your kitten, but they need pictures.
Don't worry about giving them any money. You won't have to. You have done enough.

This is great news! Pics are everything with rescue. I hope this works out! I would also donate to guardians if they take the cat.

Guardians of Rescue seems to be a national organization with local chapters. Its programs are impressive and not limited to rescuing kittens. It also works with veterans to help them get pets and I believe brings dogs back from Afghanistan for soldiers.
Make a donation, either through their website or by check. They also have Facebook page. Donations are tax deductible.
