Slowest flow nipple
Does anyone know which bottle makes the slowest flow nipple? Ds is 3 weeks old and for the most part I bf, but once a night Dh does a feeding and Ds will choke while taking a bottle. We've tried playtex vent aire, playtex drop in and dr browns bottles (all with level 1 or slow flow nipples).
He has no trouble bfing.
I'm leaving him with a friend for a few hours Saturday and very concerned about her having to feed him.
Should I try the dr browns premie flow nipple? Any suggestions on how to help him?

Slowest flow nipple
If the Playtex ventaire slow nipple was too fast of a flow for him than yes, the only other option IMO is the premie one on the dr. browns.
I tried them all and for us the ventaire was the slowest...DD still uses it a 5 months old.

we've been using the premie flow of dr browns but its still kinda fast for DS who is 5 weeks but from what i can tell there is nothing slower.

Slowest flow nipple
Playtex has different nipples that even though they may all say slow flow, they are actually different speeds.
If it says Breastlike shape on the nipple, that's their slowest slow flow nipple.
If it says Fullsized on the nipple, it's a little faster.
If it says Naturalatch on the nipple, it's the fastest of the slow flows.
