Provera ?
I've really only ever had to take provera to induce my period like once before. When i did take it, during the 10 days that i was talking it, i got my period and i stopped midway.
my last period was June 30. if any of you remember my last post, my new RE found a massive cyst like thing sitting on my left ovary and they need to do a HSG to figure out what it is. I'm anxious for my period to come so that we can figure out what it is so we can proceed with TTC #2. I took provera and finished it on Saturday. Today I went to my OBGYN for my annual checkup and she said my lining was a 5.5 - not to thick, so she didn't think my period would be coming that soon and to wait it out.
She suggested going on the birth control for one month to bring my period on.
i would rather not go back on the birth control pill and before i did that i would just talk to me RE again, but has anyone had to wait that long to have their period come? has it actually not brought on a period for any of you?

I think the longest it took to get AF after finishing the 10 days of meds was 8 days. I never got AF before 5 days after finishing. Maybe your body just needs a few more days.

when I was first TTC #1 my issue was that I didn't have enough estrogen in order to make a lining to shed so I had to go on estrace, then provera and then I got AF.

This. I took provera twice. Each time I had to wait about 5 days after finishing my 10 days of pills to get my period and it started as very spotty. Give your body a few days to start a period. Good luck!

I've had to take Provera at least 5 times. I usually get AF 13-14 days after my last pill.
