UPDATE: abdomen pain
hey ladies,
since this afternoon, i've been getting sharp, shooting pains on the lower right side of abdomen. it's at its absolute worst if i've been sitting for a little bit and then get up to walk. it even hurts when i move my legs. it hurts so bad. does anyone know what this could be?
thanks!
eta: update below!

Re: abdomen pain
How pregnant are you? Are you constipated?

Re: abdomen pain
this was what my round ligament pain and stretching felt like. I had it more pronounced on one side.
I would call your Dr to check it out to be on the safe side.

abdomen pain
Sounds like round ligament pain to me.... If you are nervous tell your doctor, but I started getting it bad around 15/16 weeks. It's much better now, or maybe I'm just used to it now, at 24 weeks.

Re: abdomen pain
thank you girls for responding.
i did some google research (i know i shouldn't have) and spoke to my doctor this morning. it's exactly what you said. wow, that pain is no joke. i was up all night with it. at one point in the middle of the night, i got up to pee and could barely walk the pain was so bad. i also kept getting calf cramps all night. it's a little better today, but i'm sore. ugh.

UPDATE: abdomen pain
If you have to pee, I find that it makes the pains worse. I'm sorry about the calf cramps!!! Did she recommend anything for those? I know there are stretches you can do, according to What to expect.

she didn't really say. she kinda felt like it was all related b/c the tops of my legs hurt too, especially when i walk. she told me i could take a tylenol, but it probably wouldn't do too much. i guess i just gotta deal with it. i'm going to look in what to expect for the stretches.. def can't hurt. thanks for the tip!

UPDATE: abdomen pain
OH Yeah, that's round ligament pain. I swear I felt like a red hot lightning rod was in my lower belly/groin/upper thigh. feel better, rest as much as you can and figure out what triggers it so you can avoid

Re: UPDATE: abdomen pain
I have that now :(( started at 16 weeks and comes and goes if I posture incorrectly with patients or if I'm driving for too long. It's the worst but it's getting a bit better. I wrote about it on the January 2015 thread. Get up very slow and no twists!
