floor model cribs
I was browsing PBK at Walt Whitman yesterday and they had some AMAZING deals on floor model cribs (almost half off and I think you can use a 10%) What are your thoughts on purchasing a floor model?
Other than some small scuffs that could be easily buffed out they looked like they were in great shape. I asked the lady a million questions. She said they would disassemble it, provide brand new hardware, you have the option for delivery and installation, and if you are unsatisfied with the condition they will take it back without any issues.
Obviously you have to give it a nice cleaning and inspect all the parts for cracks and compromises to the structure.
Anyway, I can't decide how I feel about it so I figured I'd ask the experts :)

If I loved the crib and could save $ it, I'd totally go for it, esp since they are giving you new hardware and will take it back if you're not satisfied with the condition when it arrives. I wouldn't let minor cosmetic dings deter me, and it's not like it's a used mattress or anything- it can be easily cleaned.

the only suggestion I would make, get the "we will take it back if not satisfied" in writing. IMO
otherwise, take it.
