I plan on working until I go into labor. I am fortunate to have the ability to work from home if needed so if it gets too tough towards the end, I might do that

I worked on Friday. Felt a little funny on Monday so I worked from home.
Gave birth on Tuesday late afternoon.
So my answer- right until the bitter end..
I also had no paid time off since I just started my job so every little bit counted.
I also was lucky that I felt pretty good up to the end (minus the swollen cankles and the occaisonal shooting pain down my thigh that would stop me in my tracks!) So it wasn't hard to keep working.

My "plan" was to work until I gave birth. But my last day was the day before my due date. A week and a day before I gave birth. I couldn't walk, or sit or stand anymore. I was just too uncomfortable. I only "missed" 4 work days though since I gave birth the day after Thanksgiving.

I'm trying to go as close to the end as possible, but I remember how hard the last few weeks were. I couldn't last to my due date last time (as originally planned) and left a week early. I may do that again. Go out a week before but we'll see how I'm feeling then.

when will you stop work?
2 weeks before my due date . I have 6 weeks to go and I'm so uncomfortable. I'm also a planner so I already notified payroll.
Also bi would like some time with my son before all the madness starts. In not losing much since half my paycheck goes to childcare anyway.

when will you stop work?
2 weeks from Thursday at 15 weeks.
LOL! I run a seasonal store that I am in the process of trying to buy. So we close in two weeks. We reopen in March and my c-section will be the end of March. So I am not going to be very involved in the store opening next season. So essentially I am stopping work in a week. But its good because its a very labor intense job and I am running out of steam.
I will be working part time for my dad's office for the winter, because he needs some help. But its flexible and I can stop anytime I want. Though I will probably work there as long as I can.

I'm gonna go for as long as I possibly can...just found out the due date is May 22nd, which is a Friday.....I may just make my last day the Friday before. I don't want to use up too much of my FMLA/vacation time on pre-birthday sitting around and waiting. But, we'll see how I feel around week 35/36....

I worked until I was in labor. It was suppose to be my last day (Friday) because I was due Monday.

as long as I can! Last time I worked 2 days past my due date, but then I was home for over a week anyway before the baby was born (11 days late). This time I think I'll keep going to work either until labor starts on its own or I get induced... I don't want to sit around at home just waiting. But I have a rough commute, so I don't know what I'll be able to do or how I'll be feeling this time around. Last time, DH drove me to & from work that last week... but I don't think he'll be able to do it this time.

i worked up until that day.
i even toyed with the idea of attending a press conference the morning of my scheduled c-section. it was scheduled for the afternoon, i was to arrive just before 1pm so i could have done it but the people hosting the presser, who i have known for years, were like WE WILL KILL YOU

I stopped the Friday before my due date which was about 5 days. DD was one week late. I wish I never stopped working! I was bored to tears being home.

I work until my due date for all 3. Baby 1 and 3 were late. Baby #2 I was a few days early and worked until then.
