Acupuncture
Hi - I am going tonight, and was wondering what i should expect? Also, are you supposed to tip them? I bought a groupon and in the fine print it says gratuities arent included? I wouldnt think to tip them - advice?

I don't tip, they are being paid directly for a service.
I was always told to eat 2 hrs prior because you should feel very relaxed after and could feel faint as it changes blood flow etc.
certain locations you might feel some throbbing, tension or discomfort. If the area turns red it means good blood.

No tip. Never even heard of that. It could be Groupon listing that on any services coupon they offer.
Expect to lay still on your back pretty much for 30-45 minutes; but yet relaxed. It will be quiet; usually soft music is played in the room; and lights kept dim.
It really all depends who you go to; every accupuncturist is different.

I've never tipped. You leave your clothes on, but wear comfy, loose clothes. They will probably start with a consultation. Why you're there. History. Etc. They will do some points on your head, hands, feet, stomach depending on where you are in your cycle. Wear clothes that you could lift up the legs easily and expose your tummy. Relax and enjoy.

Yes clothes stay on except usually socks/shoes.
And if you are told to remove all clothes; LEAVE!!!
