Landscaping Question??

What are the going rates for a landscaping company to come clean(no mowing). I'm new at this and have no clue, I'm assuming they charge based on the property size.

We don't have much of a lawn since when we purchased the house it was just seeded. We are contemplating sod.

What is the going rate per square footage for sod?

Can anyone recommend a reasonable landscaping company for the eastern Suffolk (Ridge) area?

TIA

Re: Landscaping Question??

I can find out from DH.

He does a lot of work with a landscape designer.

I know sod can get pricey because it's a big job and the sod itself is not cheap.

DH did ours with a guy from his company and it took practically a whole weekend.

There's also a lot of maintenance once the sod is laid to ensure the roots plant and it doesn't get too soggy/mold.

ETA: he said most average LI jobs run around $2k with the sod, dirt and labor/materials.

$2.00 for a sq foot.

Thank you for the information!! I'm wondering how much it would be to dump top soil and seed? My lawn is like sand so I was told it would be best to mix with top soil.
