Need some insight/ experiences with this!
Hey ladies! So I got confirmation last week that our first ivf worked! First beta was 126 on Monday, 234 on Wednesday and 426 on Friday. I had my first sono this morning which would make me 5+1 weeks and the doctor couldn't find the yolk sac. There was one very small black dot on the screen that he said could be it but he wasn't sure. He said it could go either way and could just be too early. They'll call me in the afternoon with my beta from today and if it's rising I'll go back Friday for another sono. Anyone have any stories to share good or bad?! Thanks!

That's very early! Usually sacs can be seen with a beta over 1000. They didn't see my sac until 5 weeks 3 days and that was after not seeing anything at 5 weeks. Hang in there, doesn't mean it's over!

At 5 weeks (pic in my album) all they saw was a gestational sac. I went back 3 days later and there was a yolk sac. I think I was 5weeks and a couple of days at first sono. It can definitely be too early!!!

Hang in there. I think it just may be too early. A couple of days can make a big difference. Keep us updated with your Beta. When was your LMP?

Thats why I asked. I had a feeling! You and I are date twins. My LMP was also 10/20 and my retrieval was done on 11/4. I am 5 weeks 1 day today but my sono isn't until 12/5. Originally they wanted to make it for 12/8 but my husband was going to be out of town so we are doing it on 12/5. I was advised though not to get nervous if we don't hear a heartbeat because its a little on the sooner side. So I really just think its way too early. I hope this makes you feel better! I think everything will be just fine

if i remember correctly when i was pregnant with my Dr, my RE told me that in order to see the yolk sac your beta has to be over 5000 - i think its still too early, but good luck and congratulations!
