Best bottle for BF babies
I used Playtex drop in nursers with my boys, but with twins on the way I need easy. I don't think I want to bother with the bags, plus they are expensive. Not really interested in Dr. Brown's either- too many parts. I am hoping to nurse and also pump and supplement with formula as needed, so I would like something that is easy for baby to go from breast to bottle nipple. Considering Avent natural, born free, or tommee tippee. Any suggestions? TIA!

Dd1 was not good with a bottle and she did best with tommy tippee. Dd2 would probably take whatever but they suggested tommy tippee in the nicu and she's done well with them also. We use the plain ones without any extra pieces.

My DD takes either tommee tippee or the cheapo gerber bottles with the hard nipples. Even at 9mo she still prefers those.

Re: Best bottle for BF babies
DS was really picky and he likes the lansinoh momma bottles. We tried the tommee tippee also and he did okay with them but prefers the lansinoh.

Re: Best bottle for BF babies
For my granddaughter, we had success with the Munchkin latch bottle. We tried a lot, and that was the only one she would take at first. She still likes that best, but now will also take the lifefactory glass bottles or the born free wide mouth bottles.

I used Medela right up until we weaned from the bottle - probably around 2 years old .

Re: Best bottle for BF babies
I used born free with my twins but ds ended up having some nipple confusion so I switched to comotomo with him which helped fix it

Joovy Boob is the only one I offered DD and the only one she's used, no complaints.

Re: Best bottle for BF babies
Ds is 8 weeks and I bf most of the time and he gets 1 bottle a day, right before bed. I've been using the Avent natural and it seems to be working well for him. No issues that I've come across, no excess gas, no spit up, he takes to it just fine .... And there seems to be no nipple confusion between that and breast feeding.

Re: Best bottle for BF babies
I found lansinoh bottles worked really well for dd2 and I love tommie tippie for both my kids. They worked the best for me. Tried single bottles first and those werent as good as lansinoh .

Re: Best bottle for BF babies
We only used Avent Natural with our DD. She was breastfed until 15 months but took to the bottle right away @ 4 months.

Re: Best bottle for BF babies
We have been using Playtex ventaire wideneck bottles with my twins. I bf and pump and they get 1-2 bottles per day of pumped milk. Haven't had any problems with these bottles.

Re: Best bottle for BF babies
I use the Playtex Nursers with NaturaLatch nipples as I think they're actually less maintenance & super easy but I also use Lansinoh mOmma bottles as well. My daughter didn't like Joovy Boob or Avent Natural.
