Lyme Disease
Just wanted to say there is hope. Annie Hopper's book has helped people a ton with a host of different conditions. http://www.amazon.com/Wired-Healing-Remapping-Mysterious-Illnesses/dp/0993890105:

Lyme Disease
I have had it four times over a 15 year span. It's not fun, but it is curable. Just be sure, if you have had the Western Blot blood test and know for sure you have it, that you take at LEAST three weeks worth of something strong like amoxycilin or doxicycline to be able to kill the spirochete organisms that would be in your body. They need three weeks to reproduce. My first doctor only gave me two weeks worth and it did not kill them off, so it came back - big time. It is actually possible to feel them starting a new cycle, in that you feel extra heavy aches every three weeks like clock work. They have to be entirely killed off. Be sure to insist on 3 - 4 weeks of medicine.
Take lots of pro-biotics to boost your immune system to keep you from getting yeast infections and to help boot Lyme out.
Best of luck!

Re: Lyme Disease
One thing I would avoid is the quacks who preach about "chronic lyme". Lyme is a bacterial infection that typically responds to a course of antibiotics. There are some unscrupulous folks out there who are milking people about lyme disease.

Re: Lyme Disease
if lyme is not detected and treated at the onset, it will become chronic.
