I will never ever understand this statement. It's major surgery. They remove your uterus, take out a little naked person and place your uterus back in. It's a painful recovery (I've had 2) people are dumb
I don't get that either. There are 2 ways for a baby to come out and BOTH are not pleasant and neither are easy.
People are just so dumb!

I've gotten many comments from many different people about my flat chest (I have no boobs at all and I was hoping being pregnant would change that... but they haven't grown AT ALL    )
Some more notable ones:
Bitchy SIL: "It sucks that all the weight you gained in your hips, thighs, and butt couldn't go to your boobs instead... it makes you look very disproportionate"...
MIL said in front of a room full of people "your SIL was flat-chested too, but she grew boobs when she got pregnant. My son must be so disappointed"
A guy friend laughed and said my kids would likely starve if they had to rely on me for breast milk.
Co-worker: "Do you think you'll be able to breast feed at all... cuz you know?... (then looking down at my chest and making a sad/pathetic face)"
People are idiots.
FWIW I am a full C cup and hardly produced any milk with DD. Like just enough to give her colustrum and thats it.
My sister who is an A cup produced so much milk...she could have opened up a milk factory no joke so there goes that theory

So, another stupid thing, almost not pregnancy related. We have a woman who regularly comes into the office to deliver documents and she overheard that I'm pregnant. Now we're suddenly bff. I don't mind so much, as long as you keep it light. Today she told me, very seriously, how she knows my DH and I are very much in love and starting a family but I need to cover my ass and have a secret bank account that my DH doesn't know about so that *when* (not if, when) he leaves me I'll be able to provide for myself and my baby. I stayed quiet but she kept going on about it and I finally said "I would NEVER do that and if you would, you really need to take a hard look at who you're in a relationship with." And she CONTINUED for another 10 minutes to tell me all the times this has happened to her family and friends and how she knows it's all sweet and wonderful in the beginning but you never really know someone and all men are pigs and women just try to do what's right for their families but men don't care. It took everything in me not to flip my sh!t on her!

i don't get it either 
my MIL keeps saying i'll probably have a c-section b/c i'm pregnant with twins and not to worry, it's easier. umm, how so exactly?! it's surgery!
