injections question..
im almost through stims, so this is probably moot..but is there anything I can do to minimize the bruising. I go in at an angle, but are you supposed to put the needle all the way in? I dont have a lot of fat around the middle to pinch..not trying to sound like an a$$hole, (if the injections were in my arse i'd have no problem). 4 shots a day..im running out of room. I do the follistim pen in my leg..i find that to be easier.
i ice the area before and after. im still bruising a lot though.

Do you change the location a lot? There's actually a large area you could cover and personally, I found I had more bruising when I used the same spots a lot.

Re: injections question..
I could be wrong but at least from my experience I thought going in straight (perpendicular to the area on your belly) was better than at an angle. I remember the one time I went in on an angle I bruised but this past stimming cycle I didn't really have much bruising considering all the injections I did (just the little holes at the injection site were evidence of it). I definitely found that icing helped.
Glad you're almost done

Re: injections question..
First off, how's your tooth???? Did you end up figuring out what was wrong with it?
Injection related: I totally understand. I too have relatively little fat around my middle. If you are using a 1/2 inch needle, you should stick it in completely. I called and asked as well. I was told it was possible I was jabbing it in and to be a little "kinder to my skin". So, I started doing the injections a little less vigorously and it did seem to help. You must be getting pretty close!!! GOOD LUCK!

thanks. i bruise easily anyway. i tried going straight in..maybe that will help. I had emergency root canal friday afternoon. the tooth is still sore and i cant chew much on that side, but amen..the pain is gone.
i have to go for a check tomorrow am. they are thinking retrieval friday or saturday. tomorrow I guess will determine that. there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
