Severe cradle cap
We are having the same problem, for those that used H&S how often did you use it. I used it 2X on my son but stopped bec I was afraid it was bad to use it to much. I have tried everything else and it keeps coming back.

Re: Severe cradle cap
Did anyone mention Neutrogena T-Gel? It was the only thing that worked on my two younger DC--baby oil did nothing. Smells disgusting but works like a charm!

Thanks everyone. I bought the H&S and will try it tonight. I'll let you know if I see any improvement.

I used it each time i washed his hair. It doesnt just clear it up it prevents it from happening. Still do now that he is over 2! Not sure what could be bad about using it. My ped suggests using nothing else except Dove soap.

If you follow the EWG product ratings it's not that great. Plus I'm sure it stings pretty badly if it were to get in their eyes.

Pediatrician suggested Selsun Blue. One time and it's completely gone.

Both my kids suffered from it, DD worse than DS, she had it on her forehead and eyebrows. Mustela has a cradle cap cream that works amazing called Stelaker. Clears it up and does not come back.
I had to come back to this thread to thank you. I bought the mustela stelatopia cream for ezcema and it's amazing. Cleared her cradle cap up and is gone. Even dh noticed. We use it all over her body too.

You're welcome...I was so happy I found it as well when DS had it.

We ended up having to use Head & Shoulders - I tried a bunch of other stuff before including oils, etc., and nothing worked. Head and Shoulders cleared it up fairly quickly.
Same here head and shoulders was the only thing that worked for my dd too.
