MRI with contrast
lol was diagnosed with 4th nerve palsy. Would you allow them to do an MRI with contrast to check the brain? She is 6 months. Anyone have experience?

Re: MRI with contrast
My daughter has had 2 MRI's for seizures
One with and one without contrast.
She had no side effects/issues
She was put under both times, she was older though but I would have done it then if needed

Re: MRI with contrast
Yes. Sounds like they are looking to rule out something like a tumor. Contrast is very well tolerated. MRI is tough in a 6 month old... Anesthesia will probably be needed to make sure baby holds stop enough. Good luck & pick a doc that you have faith in... Then you go with the recommendations.
