Is this aggressive?

I got my protocol for my cycle this month. It's my first one- is this a little much! I was reading through the packet and sat down with my nurse today- after I left I felt overwhelmed. This is what we are doing this month:
50mg Clomid days 3-7
Ovidrel shot once I get the good to go
Back to back IUIs
Following the IUIs crinone until pregnancy test

I feel like it's a lot? Maybe it isn't? I think I just wasn't prepared for all this!?! So nervous!

Is this aggressive?

Seems like a normal start to an IUI to me.

Is this aggressive?

Thanks! I wasn't sure! My coworker had just clomid then the IUI so when I got all this today I was a little shocked! Glad to know it seems normal!

Re: Is this aggressive?

There's no benefit to doing B2B IUIs. One well-timed IUI at 36 hours is the most beneficial.

Do you have a history of low progesterone? While progesterone supps can't really hurt you, there may be no need for it. I've always just had a progesterone check at around 5-7 days past IUI. As long as your progesterone numbers are good, there's no need for supps. If they're low, then that's when you would start supps. If low progesterone is your issue, Clomid could also help that naturally.

That was my protocol exactly for my first cycle, then upped clomid to 100mg and then 150mg, so no I don't think it is aggressive at all.

Re: Is this aggressive?

That's Normal IUI protocol
Not all clinics do B2B , but I liked covering my bases lol

I also had higher dose clomid - but that's due to my low amh

Re: Is this aggressive?

Feels aggressive because you're new, but it's actually very basic.

Is this aggressive?

Thanks all!! Yes it feels like a lot but I feel better knowing it's similar for everyone! I found out its 100mg clomid to start. I'm sure I'll feel much more relaxed once I start meds tomorrow- I hope!

Not at all. I had the same protocol and I now have a 6 month old.

Re: Is this aggressive?

thats pretty typical IUI protocol. 50 mg clomid is a baby dose as my RE put it.

I didnt do back to back IUI's. Just clomid, trigger and one IUI.
