Fever week after MMR and Chicken Pox vaccine

My DD got these vaccines during her one year well visit and our ped informed us that she may get a fever a week to 10 days afterwards. Well, she started getting a fever one week later like she said and still has a fever for two days that spiked at its highest at 103. She has no other symptoms expect for being uncomfortable when the fever is high and tylenol has brought it down.

I heard this is common but how long will this last? Will be calling her ped 2moro if she is the same.

My daughter got the MMRV and had the same reaction. She had a very high fever for about 3 days I think. She was 4 when she got it.

Fever week after MMR and Chicken Pox vaccine

Just went through this last week with my 1 year old. The fever lasted 3 days, I just gave him Tylenol to keep it down.

My twins had theirs at their one year visit and only one got a fever about two days later. It lasted about three days then she got a rash all over her body for about another three days. Then is was all gone. No fever, no rash.

After her first MMR she got the fever only exactly 7 days later. It lasted 2 days or so.

After her second dose at 5 years old she got quite a few spots. Not sure if it was measles or chicken pox because she had both at the same time.
Her first dose of both she got nothing other than the fever- second dose she definitely had a mild case of something- she had quite a bit of spots.

Thanks guys. I think she finally over the fever and back to her happy self. No rash in sight. I can see why vaccines scare some moms though.
