Thickened Nuchal Translucency. Please help. ***UPDATE***
Last night we had our 12 week sonogram and the nuchal fold measurement was classified as "thickened" at 3.2mm. We are now awaiting the results of the panerama/Maternit21 test, which won't be in until next week.
Did anyone have a similar issue and end up with a healthy baby? I am absolutely beside myself. 
***Update. We got the results of the genetic test on Friday and everything came back as low risk. Looks like our baby GIRL (!!!!) should be just fine. I can't believe I ever cared about having a boy over a girl. I'm so thankful to be having a healthy baby and I'm thrilled for my DD to be getting a sister. Thanks for the input. I think modern medicine is a blessing and occasionally a curse.***

The nuchal fold measurement is only part of the screening. What were your blood test results? And the nasal bone? I believe the initial measurement just increases chances for DS, but is definitely not definitive. I know it's scary, but hang in there. I am sure the baby will be healthy!
FWIW, DD had a spot on her heart, which is also a marker for DS, but everything else tested fine and she's a perfectly healthy 22 month old now!

We are still waiting for the blood test results. They aren't coming in until next week.
They were able to see the nasal bone.

Yes this current pregnancy the baby had a slightly thicker nuchal fold (around 3mm ) at 12 weeks so I felt nervous because I remember for my older kids it was much less, even below 1.5. But the panorama had already come back normal and the sono tech said she saw a nasal bone and everything else looked good. All other testing has come back normal. Try not to worry ... nuchal fold of 3.2 isnt that high.

I know saying not to worry will mean nothing to you because you'll worry anyway, so I'm not going to say it! But I will say this...at my 20 week scan, my son had an echogenic focus on his heart and an echogenic bowel. These are markers for downs and a slew of ther horrible things, especially when both are present. We had an amino and spent weeks worrying that something was wrong until he came out three weeks early but perfectly healthy! Try to hang in there and keep in

This just gave me so much hope. They were able to see the nasal bone and did say that 3.2 was on the "low end of abnormal." Praying these test results come back normal!!

Same exact thing for me. I was freaked out, and its very hard not to freak out, but my DS was fine - no problems at all.

Great news, and congrats!
I also think all these tests just drive you insane and make you worry needlessly in so many situations.
Modern technology is great, yes, but it also causes so much undue stress a lot of the times.
