Post c section joint pain
So post c section I had extreme joint pain, like could barely walk or moving my fingers, especially when getting up in the morning. I brought it up to my doctor at my 6 week visit and he said by 3 months should be ok. So it was getting a bit better. I'm now 4months PP and it's like day 1 all over again the last few weeks. I can't move my fingers in the morning, can barely walk and it's like this for about an hour after getting up. I can't take it anymore. My doctor said it was normal in the beginning and would get better that it's from your joints being loose towards the end of pregnancy, but to be honest if one of my kids got up first thing in the morning I couldn't hold them. I can't even walk to the bathroom or down the steps. Has anyone experienced this?! Who would I even see about this? I never had a day of joint pain before pregnancy or even during pregnancy I was fine!
I also wanted to add I'm not overweight so I'm not carrying around an excess of weight. I lost all my baby weight Keith the exception of about 5-7 lbs. And I walk for about a half hour 2-3x a week with my kids.

Re: Post c section joint pain
I have never heard of joint pain like that from pregnancy. I mean I know joints loosen up and all towards the end but that level of pain doesn't sound normal. I never experienced it. What you are describing sounds like the symptoms of a friend of ours who was diagnosed with RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis) Are you fingers and joints swollen?
I'd see your GP first to figure out what they think and they can recommend a specialist if need be.

Re: Post c section joint pain
I have had 2 c sections and never had this. I have carpal tunnel and aches and pains from lifting the baby. Could it be from lifting your kids all day?

Post c section joint pain
I had 2 csections and although I felt more postpartum pain in my second one, it def wasn't what u're describing. Let's say that what ur dr is saying is right, the fact that it's been 4 months already would make me think it's something else, I'd either bring this up to my primary dr or get a second opinion from another obgyn and take it from there.

That sounds similar to RA to me, to be honest. Sometimes pregnancy can cause a flare of autoimmune disorders so I'd definitely have it checked out

Re: Post c section joint pain
Please see your primary or a rheumatologist asap and don't let them tell you it is normal aches and pains. I watched my joints go down one by one after my last pregnancy and was told ridiculous things before getting the proper diagnosis. You should not be feeling this way. Please message me if you want to talk. (And yes, I had a csection, but it was the pregnancy that triggered the autoimmune disease.)

Re: Post c section joint pain
I never heard of this and never experienced it with my three csections. I would go see the primary care MD.
