More Communion Questions - geared towards boy
My son's First Communion is this spring.
Just wondering what is customary - do I get him a rosary, bible, etc. What is done for boys or the kids in general to commemorate it? Looking for some special touches.

Yes you can get them the rosary and prayer book. I also got them a precious moment figurine to commemorate the day.

My DS made communion last year, and our church offered some options of special "extras" that you could order for boys or girls.
I ordered my son a prayer book/rosary, and I think he got a special pin. Some people ordered the arm bands, but I didn't really like the look of that. I did get him a boutonniere (sp?) to wear the day of.
When I got him his suit, I also bought cross cuff links.

I really like the cross cuff links - I think I'm getting my son a shirt with a french cuff so that'll be perfect.
