Weighted blankets
My son (7, ASD, ADHD) has one. He sleeps with it. Absolutely loves it.

Re: Weighted blankets
i don't have a weighted blanket per se, i have a heavy quilt/bedspread.
i love that thing. i go to sleep almost immediately and i don't toss and turn as much as i normally do.
it's a ***** to make the bed, because it's so big and heavy. i can't just "flap" it to where i want it. i have to go around the whole be to adjust it.

The weight of it is supposed to help with anxiety etc. and be very calming. Having something heavy on you tends to be soothing for some.
