Ring Doorbell Spinoff
Is there a video doorbell that does not need to be hardwired to an existing doorbell? We do not have an existing doorbell. We bought a video doorbell from our alarm company and can't use it now because it has to be hard wired.

The ring we have isn’t hardwired either. It’s battery operated and on my WiFi
We charge it over night when it dies

Not all Ring doorbells need to be hardwired. I think only the Ring Pro needs to be hardwired.

The ring doesn’t have to be hard wired.
Mine isn’t. We have a chime plugged into the wall outlet and it works on WiFi. We charge the ring every other month or so for a few hours and it’s good to go.
