Re: Magic Kingdom One Day Ticket
I don't believe there are any discounts available on 1 day tickets.

Magic Kingdom One Day Ticket
There are never discounted 1 day tickets, and I would buy your tickets online like now so you can book fast passes.

Re: Magic Kingdom One Day Ticket
Neither Undercover Tourist nor AAA offer discounts on one day tickets. Discounts usually only apply to 3 or more day tickets.
The best you can do is if you have a Target card buy Disney gift cards using your red card and you will save 5%. Combine all those gift cards into one gift card at disneygiftcards.com and use that combined gift card to buy passes - you'll save 5%.
Sam's Club also has discounted Disney gift cards if you are a member there.

Re: Magic Kingdom One Day Ticket
I always bought my 1 day tickets at the window/online.
No worries: think about the fact that if you stay a full day, you will get your $ worth.
Other things to consider: look at the operating hours to make sure you won’t get kicked out for an event on one day vs the rest. If there is an event... the tickets cost less but your kids may not be able to stay up so late.
We go often for just a day (tacked on to another vacation). It’s perfect. I would ideally do one day of nothing per day in the park. This summer we did two “half days” in the Disney resort hotel and just one full day in the park. It was great.
The Fast Passes for ideal ride times have long been booked out... but you can still book a ton of Fast Passes and not wait too Long if you don’t HAVE to go on the newest attractions.

I would recommend doing what the PP stated. Either purchase GCs at Target or BJS.
For us, BJs was a better deal since the GCs were 4% off and then we got an additional 2% back with our CC. Just note that if you do the BJs route, the 4% only applied to cards with a face value printed on it - not the choose your own amount cards. I didn't realize this and loaded an exact amount onto one and my DH is still complaining about the $12 savings I missed out on......
