Potty training tips?
My DD was about 2.5. We got her the Princess Potty book. It came with a crown and stickers and each time she went she got a sticker on the crown.
Is she in school? DD’s whole class was training at the same time so they used to take them once an hour. They would see the teacher make a big deal when a kid would go and they’d feed off that.

Re: Potty training tips?
My son didn't train until 3.5 and even a few months later for poop. He was very stubborn. Thank goodness we had an amazing daycare teacher who basically got him trained.

Potty training tips?
It wasn’t easy. I didn’t follow it exactly but did the 3 day method. We stood home for a few days and was naked from the waist down. I also tried making them sit in the toilet every 40-45 minutes. Lots of tears (from both of us) but once it clicks it gets easier. I also needed to make sure my husband followed through.

Potty training tips?
My daughter turned 3 in June. Trained inside of 3 days about 2 weeks after her birthday. Fast forward to August and she completely regressed. She's been in Pull-ups since August bc she refused to go on the potty at all. We are planning to try again after the holidays and she's 3.5 now.

Potty training tips?
My daughter was 2.5 yrs old and was potty trained in a week. I did the 3 day method of staying home and concentrating on training. I got a sticker chart for when she went she would get one on the chart. We also watched potty training videos on you tube together and read potty training books. She got the hang of peeing right away in the potty and one time she pooped on herself without a diaper on and she didn't like the feeling and felt embarrassed...from then on she was accident free and going to the potty. I gave her a toy prize for completing the chart. She is 4 now and will go by herself but i like going with her because she still doesn't wipe correctly so we are working on that.

Re: Potty training tips?
My younger dd is 8 now but she also turned 3 in November and I used Christmas to get her potty trained. I had tried before but didn’t push, then I would mention that all I wanted for Christmas was for her to be potty trained...and the week between Christmas and New Years she just did it. At that point she knew what she was supposed to do and she just went straight to underwear and had no issues with pee or poop. I’m sure some won’t be a fan of my parenting technique, but it worked and was stress free.

Re: Potty training tips?
My dd was a little younger than 3 and my son a couple months older than 3. I read somewhere to say "tell mommy when you have to go to the bathroom" when you want to say, "do you have to go to the bathroom?" Toddlers tend to want to be in control and want to say no when you ask them.

She’ll do it when she’s ready. My kids were both just over 3.

Potty training tips?
I trained my stubborn DS at 2.5. It’s a control thing. If they know how and know when to then you need to take back the control. Mine was not easy....there were tears and yelling for both of us but I knew he was the type of kid that would do it for spite and he would be going to college in a diaper if I didn’t do this.
I did the 3 day and yup I forced it. Very unpopular these days but I will tell you he’s not scarred for life from it.

Re: Potty training tips?
My DD did not train until about 3 months after she turned 3. She just kept fighting me on it, and then one day she just went on her own and I didn't have to bribe, time train her etc.
