Planning a surprise party on Zoom?
My brother had grand plans for his milestone birthday next month but obviously none of that is happening. I feel bad. He's a bachelor and was so excited and is now spending it alone, confined. I thought we could do a "surprise party" for him on zoom with family and friends but I"m not exactly sure how to pull it off and what other little special touches I could do. I mean, I'll schedule the time and send everyone the link but does anyone have any other ideas to make it special for him?

Maybe have a restaurant deliver a nice meal or appetizers or something and alcohol (whatever he likes) to him at the time of the party

We’ve been doing parades for the kids in the neighborhood. We decorate our cars with signs and balloons, line up, have the birthday kid come outside and drive in front of their house honking and waving out from the window. We just did it for a 6 yo and had 6 cars. It was cute. Not sure an adult would appreciate it, but a thought.

He lives in Manhattan and it would just be too much for us to coordinate. I definitely thought about it but I really didn't want to drive into ground zero either. My parents have a vacant home. If he would come out here and stay there, we would totally do that.

Great idea! We ordered him surf and turf to be delivered.
