Hanukkah dinner menu help!
So I am jewish and never had a Hanukkah celebration or meal. Weird I guess...I dunno.
Anyway I want to make a nice Hanukkah dinner for my SO on Tuesday night...what are things besides potato latkas can I make. Especially main dishes????

my mom does a lot of the same stuff she makes on thanksgiving. you can do noodle kugle (sp?) and sweet potato casserole, along with the latkes.
ETA: she also makes brisket - she actually marinates it overnight in malaga and it comes out soooo good!!

Brisket...how do you get that...just go to the store and ask for a brisket or is it a certain type of meat?

Chicken. I usually make one or get rotisseire chicken to go with the Latkas. HTH

It's called beef brisket
most supermarkets should have it...it's usually on sale this time of year
