Master's completion question...please help!

Hi! I am currently enrolled at Stonybrook and finishing up my Master's (in Liberal Arts). I am taking my final course now. However, I was unaware that I needed to have courses approved by NYS to actually complete my certification?? Can anyone please explain this to me? I am certified in general and special ed birth-grade 2 and grades 1-6 and graduated from St. Joe's in Dec. 2005. Do I need to contact NYS Higher Ed to get approval for the courses I've already taken? Ugh-how could I let myself be so uninformed!!Chat Icon Please help! Thank you.

I got the same degree from St. Joe's and I also am going to Stony Brook's MALS online program. It is fine, it meets the goals. It really is because we are liberal arts teachers in a way. You can look on the SB site.
