Toys-R-Us - Crazy Return Policy!
I bought two Disney CARS Toys for DS for xmas but changed my mind and never gave them to him. I finally went to TRU to return them today but the lady at TRU said my receipt was expired. I payed $14.99 for each and had a $10 off coupon so both cost me $20. So the lady said I can return them w/ a license for the lowest selling price in the last 45 days. I expect like $10 back for both but I asked her to check the price. Turns out the were much more $$ than what I payed...I got $50 back!!!!! I only payed $20!!!  I said I only payed $20 and she said it's the company policy so I have to give you what they are selling for. Okay w/ me!!!! Such a crazy policy but for ONCE I did well!

I guess since the house probably MAKES money on this policy 9/10, they can eat a loss once in a while!

What I dont get is if you walked in without the reciept they wouldnt go further. So why do they even discuss expired reciepts? Its kinda like what level can we screw the customer...LOL
