Will I like kale?

I do not like spinach at all. I've tried frozen, I've tried fresh, I just can't get on board. I have also tried escarole and did not like that either.
So do you think I will like kale? Does it have a similar taste to these other 2 greens? Is there a way I can prepare it that will give me a better chance of liking it?

What don't you like about spinach? Is it the taste or the texture? Do you like other greens like collards, swiss chard, etc?

Kale is a hearty winter green so it does not cook down as much as spinach. It has a stronger, almost bitter flavor. If you don't like the flavor of spinach, I don't think you will like Kale.

I love Kale Chips - baked in the oven with olive oil, salt, pepper, and a touch of garlic. They get super crispy.

I also really like Kale made into pesto - boil it first for a few mins to make it softer and then blend with pine nuts, olive oil, basil/parsley, parm cheese, salt, pepper, garlic. This might be a good starter recipe for you.

And I add it to soups - it won't get mushy like spinach. And saute it to make greens and beans.

Also, you have to remove the stems and chop it before eating.

I find that if you don't like spinach you won't like kale. It is more of a lettuce or cabbage than spinach but based on my family those who don't eat spinach also don't eat kale.

It def has a more bitter taste than spinach.
